It's time for a full playlist to kick start the weekend, and this one is filled with non-stop bangers. Terry Gilliam's adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, has become a cult classic that is visually incredible and the soundtrack is filled with killer tracks from the 60's and 70's, plus Vegas style classics that make this a fun ride.
Starring Johnny Depp as Raoul Duke and Benicio del Toro as Dr. Gonzo, the two set out on a journey with journalistic purpose, and a suitcase full of pharmaceuticals, that then turns to an exploration of Las Vegas under the effect of psychoactive drugs. The movie is almost soulless in it's look at the excess of consumption, but this is what is so great about it and the idea of addressing our pointless pursuits of personal gratification and greed along with an escape from the present reality. The visuals of the film are second to none, partly why it's a 90's cult classic.

The kind of music that will drown and absorb you just through listening is pretty much anything to do with Jack White. One of his side projects, The Raconteurs offers up the goods with 'Salute Your Solution'.
