YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR WINNERS - SECOND YEAR IN A ROW!
After bagging the award for Young Entrepreneur of the year - Fashion Division in 2018, the announcement that Doug and Aj Hainstock took out the Young Entrepreneur win again in 2019 for the same title, caught us all off guard!
From a creative concept to a counter-culture fashion business that began its journey in the back of a van, the Hainstock brothers have grown DVNT to a worldwide brand over the past decade. "DVNT is a fashion brand that embraces the counter culture of the music industry and designs clothing and accessories for men and women," says Doug Hainstock. "The brand offers a unique and diverse range of products, whilst still hitting key trends for those who embrace diversity and stand out from the crowd."
The company designs four collections per year that are currently distributed to more than 4,500 stores in 19 countries including Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada, the UK, Europe and South East Asia.
"We intend to continue our growth through our existing markets, but also expand into other markets and also product categories," says Aj Hainstock.
"Now that we have streamlined our distribution process and warehousing, we have no limit on the scale-ability of our business," he says, adding the company also moved into a custom-built office in Brisbane this year with two showrooms, and a photo-shoot studio.
Thanks To Business News Australia for the amazing award and for acknowledging the hard work of Doug and Alex and our entire team.

The kind of music that will drown and absorb you just through listening is pretty much anything to do with Jack White. One of his side projects, The Raconteurs offers up the goods with 'Salute Your Solution'.

It's time for a full playlist to kick start the weekend, and this one is filled with non-stop bangers. Terry Gilliam's adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's, 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas', has become a cult classic that is visually incredible and the soundtrack is filled with killer songs from the 60's and 70's, plus Vegas style classics that make this a fun ride.

It's 2am, feeling alright, just getting started tonight...A bit of no-frills garage rock from LA based band, The Black Tibetans, is giving us those Friday feels in 'You're Cold'.
