Take a bit of raunch, glamour, rock and energy and you get the New York Dolls and their track 'Personality Crisis'. You'll be head banging your way home after watching the live recording, where NYD are killing it on stage, but ignore the audience, pretty sure their all just on acid.
One of the early bands on the punk rock scene, New York Dolls confidently carried a flamboyant style, making them more than a band, but also a concept. Their music is rough, loud and youthful, with their first two albums, 'New York Dolls' and 'Too Much Too Soon' being among the most popular cult records in rock.
