Today we're playing a classic that will get you grooving into the weekend, Violent Femmes Blister in the Sun.
American folk punk band, Violent Femmes have been making music for over 30 years (give or take some time off here and there). Their 1983 self-titled album saw immediate success with songs like Blister in the Sun. Fans have read into the song as being about the strung out feeling that comes from drug abuse, or simply masturbation. Read into it what you like, it's guitar riffs and upbeat sound makes you want to move.

It's time for a full playlist to kick start the weekend, and this one is filled with non-stop bangers. Terry Gilliam's adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's, 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas', has become a cult classic that is visually incredible and the soundtrack is filled with killer songs from the 60's and 70's, plus Vegas style classics that make this a fun ride.
