SUNDAY SESH // APPLETINI

SUNDAY SESH // APPLETINI

This Sunday Sesh we are raising our glasses to the Appletini !

Masterminded in a West Hollywood restaurant called Lola's in 1996. This drink, was originally called an 'Adam's Apple Martini'. Some say because the bartender behind the creation was named Adam! Appletinis are among the most popular fruit martinis in the modern bar. The recipes for this cocktail have evolved to become quite diverse, with the majority feature vodka. While a few recipes call for  apple brandy or liqueur, others use apple cider or apple juice. So feel free to experiment!

 - Dust off that cocktail shaker and get in!

Ingredients:

  • 45mL Vodka
  • 45mL Cloudy Apple Juice
  • 5mL Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 5mL Maple Syrup

Method:

  • Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker
  • Fill with ice cubes and shake well for 30 seconds
  • Garnish with a wedge of apple
  • Make another round and repeat!

A mix between attempted shock tactics and unintentional comedy, it's still a neck breaking track the crosses the lines between thrash metal and radio-friendly fun times.
