Take a trip down memory lane with us as we revisit the iconic Australian/New Zealand band Crowded House and watch their farewell performances.
Crowded House, formed in Melbourne in 1985, had consistent success across Australia and internationally. The founding members included Neil Finn (vocalist, guitarist, primary songwriter, Paul Hester (drums) and Nick Seymour (bass). Later members included Neil Finn's brother, Tim Finn, Mark Hart and Matt Sherrod. Some of the rock bands most well-known hits are: 'Don't Dream It's Over', 'Better be Home Soon', 'Fall at your feet' and 'Something So Strong'. Bet you're already singing them just after reading the titles!
Originally active from 1985 to 1996 they released two further albums in 2007 and 2010. In 2016 they celebrated 30 years. That's pretty frickin' awesome. Take a look back to the very emotional last song, 'Don't Dream it's Over' from the Crowded House 1996 'Farewell to the World' gigs in Melbourne and Sydney.
Want more?! Yeah you do! Check out their 'Farewell to the World' 20th anniversary gig at the also very iconic, Sydney Opera House.
